Archie Lloyd James

Archie Lloyd James (born August 18, 2002) is a filmmaker, producer, and creative director known for pushing the boundaries of storytelling. Hailing from the scenic Forest of Dean, Archie draws great inspiration from the rugged landscapes and natural beauty of his hometown, often incorporating the raw, untouched environments into his projects. In 2018, at just 16 years old, he co-founded Without Limits Group alongside Thomas Newman—a production company built on the belief that creativity should have no boundaries.

Archie has a deep passion for telling stories that celebrate extraordinary human achievement. His work spans across film, music, and the creative arts, blending striking visuals with emotionally compelling narratives. He has a strong connection to the music industry and often explores the intersection between music and film, using storytelling to enhance and elevate artistic expression.

In 2024, Archie produced MX2: IDENTICAL – The Untold Story of the MX2 Twins, a documentary short that follows two identical twins from Gloucestershire who turned to rap music after the tragic loss of their best friend. The film captured their journey, resilience, and passion for creating powerful music. It was nominated for Best Documentary Short at the Gloucester Independent Film Festival, earning critical acclaim for its raw storytelling and emotional depth.

Following this, he produced La Montaña in 2025, a documentary short about professional downhill mountain bike racer Ben Moore. The film explores Moore’s rise to the top of the sport, uncovering the dedication, sacrifice, and mindset required to be the best. La Montaña received an overwhelmingly positive response on YouTube, further solidifying Archie’s reputation as a producer dedicated to bringing inspiring stories to life.

In addition to his documentary work, Archie is the creative director of Sessions by Without Limits, an original live music series that showcases independent artists performing stripped-back, acoustic versions of their own songs in breathtaking outdoor locations. From serene lakesides to rugged hilltops, each session is filmed and recorded live, capturing raw, intimate performances that let the music take center stage. The series combines stunning visuals with high-quality audio, ensuring that every performance preserves the authenticity and emotion of the artist's music.
